Summer Students - Custodial Assistant

The Renfrew County District School Board is currently recruiting for six Summer Students – Custodial Assistants. Custodial Assistants work 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. The term is from July 2, 2024 to August 23, 2024 (approximately). These positions are at various schools throughout Renfrew County.

Custodial Assistants will assist custodial staff with the duties of the annual summer clean, including moving furniture and a variety of cleaning tasks.

• pplicants should be enthusiastic and willing to learn
• Able to follow both oral and written instructions
• Able to work well both individually and with others
• Safety boots are required and are the responsibility of the successful candidates to provide
• Must have a driver's license and your own vehicle for transportation to and from their work location. (Students who are required to travel between their main location and other worksites may be eligible to claim mileage according to the board’s travel and expense reimbursement procedure.)
• Only students returning to a program of study (secondary or post-secondary) will be considered.
