McNab, Stewart, Prince & Beattie is pleased to participate in the Canada Summer Jobs program, to hire a student for summer employment. We are recruiting for someone to work 30 hours per week, starting July 2, 2024 and running until August 28, 2024.

The program runs for a total of eight weeks and will provide an eager student with ample opportunity to learn various legal skills.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Scanning legal files for digital preservation of files.
• Maintaining and uploading firm documents.
• Uploading precedents to real estate software.
• Attending local financial institutions to assist in closing real estate transactions.
• Attending local law firms for delivery or receipt of documents.
• Assisting real estate law clerks for the delivery or receipt of documents.

• Between 15 and 30 years old on the start date of the job.
• Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN).
• Be attending secondary school, college or university in the fall.
• Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada.

International students and other temporary residents of Canada are not eligible.
