Valley Refrigeration Ltd. has an immediate opening for an Office Assistant-Dispatcher. This is a part-time, permanent position working weekdays between 8:00am and 4:00pm. This role has the potential to become full-time.
The best person for this role is someone who enjoys variety in their job. Working as part of a team, you will be providing office and customer service support through a variety of responsibilities. It will be helpful for you to have a keen eye for details and if you enjoy working in a busy environment.
Responsibilities:
- Answer a multi-line phone system efficiently and politely
- Daily dispatching of technicians
- Prioritize and coordinate the scheduling of services with customers and technicians
- Print and prepare documents that technicians require for their work
- Issue purchase orders to suppliers
- Work with vendors to facilitate returns of parts and equipment
- Prepare and mail customer quotations
- Process debit and credit card payments
- Daily office close-out duties
- Willing to learn new skills to take on additional responsibilities in the business
