Active Chiropractic Family Health Centre, busy clinic located in Pembroke, is seeking a positive, health promoting individual, who is organized and works well with people to join our team as a part-time Office Administrator. We are looking to fill this role immediately.
The Office Administrator provides frontline service to the people who are most important to our clinic- our patients. This is also a supportive position to the entire health care team. This position is responsible for: reception; answering/responding to telephone calls; computerized booking of appointments; invoicing and receiving payments from patients and third parties; preparing and submitting billings for patients to Blue Cross, HCAI, WSIB and other third parties as required according to established policies and procedures; organization and retention of Medical Records according to established policies and procedures; ordering, receiving, and distributing supplies; correspondence, emailing and faxing work; and some moderate cleaning duties. Training is provided.
This is a part-time position - a minimum of 10 evening hours per week and a minimum of two Saturday shifts per month with the possibility of additional evening, daytime, or weekend hours per week. Currently we are looking for availability for: Mondays 3:15pm to 8:15pm; Tuesdays 3:15pm to 7:15pm; Wednesdays 3:15pm to 7:15pm; two Saturdays per month 8:00am to 12:00pm; and some flexibility in scheduling.
Salary to commensurate with experience.
