Description:

St. Francis Herb Farm, one of Canada’s leading herbal supplements brands for almost 30 years, is seeking a full-time Inventory Control Specialist to join our team.

Reporting directly to the Materials Manager, the Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels of raw, WIP and finished goods in a multi-site manufacturing environment.  

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure inventory is preserved, stored and maintained in an organized and efficient manner within climate control protocols
  • Ensure ERP inventory
  • Perform inventory cycle counts quarterly and ensure inventory quantities and lot codes are accurate in ERP and warehouse
  • Monitor aging inventory and follow established protocol for disposition
  • Assist Materials Manager in coordinating daily manufacturing build plan
  • Generate reports for reconciling inventory levels for quarterly and year-end cycles
  • Collaborate with purchasing and finance on maintaining inventory thresholds, manage inventory self-life and new product builds
  • Create ad-hoc reports and monitor utilization trends and make recommendations to optimize supply chain
Qualifications
  • Supply Chain Management certification (completed or in process)
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 – GMP
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Office 365 and ERP system environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze data and identify trends
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative team player who demonstrates solution-based problem solving skill
