We are accepting resumes for the position of Housekeeping Aide. This is a part-time position.

The Housekeeping Aide has the following responsibilities:

• Provides all aspects of environmental cleaning in assigned work areas
• Using specified cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing agents
• Maintains optimal levels of infection control within the work area
• Following procedures is responsible for all clearing within resident rooms, common areas and service areas within Valley Manor
• Ensures the privacy of residents during performance of duties
• Prepares room for new residents following prescribed procedures to ensure tour ready at all times
• Participates in in-service programs arranged by Valley Manor
• Notifies supervisor when supplies are low or equipment is malfunctioning
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the manager

• Previous experience in a housekeeping role is an asset; training is provided
• Able to maintain confidentiality and respect of residents
• Strong team work ethic and commitment to doing a good job in this role
