Marianhill is a charitable long-term care facility located in the beautiful Ottawa Valley. We provide specialized care for 200 long-term and complex continuing care residents.   

Marianhill is currently seeking regular part-time Personal Support Workers.

Under the direction of the registered staff, the Personal Support Worker assists with the provision of resident care. Duties are performed in accordance with Marianhill’s mission statement, established policies and procedures, current legislation and in a manner that respects the uniqueness, dignity, worth, self-respect, self-determination and autonomy of our residents to promote maximum independence.

Qualifications
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate required (minimum of 600 hours in duration, counting both class time and practical experience time)
  • Ability to work with computerized records required
  • Food Handlers training is an asset
  • Experience working in a Long Term Care facility setting is an asset
  • Experience working in Geriatric Mental Health and dementia is an asset
  • Basic Life Support (BCLS) is an asset
  •  Oral and written proficiency in French is considered an asset
  •  Excellent attendance is essential
Additional Information

Hours of Work: Varied shifts.

Rate of Pay: $21.15 per hour (CUPE Local 2764 plus 14% in lieu of benefits).
