We have an immediate opening for a Level 2 Radiographer This is a full-time position.
The Radiographer Level 2 Technician will perform calibrations, non-destructive tests, training of personnel, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written acceptance criteria. The individual must be capable of interpreting sand castings and welds to various customer requirements and codes. The Radiographer Level 2 Technician will organize, compile, and report results.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on radiography with RT techniques to Magellan radiation safety and NDT procedures
- Interpret digital and film images for pass-fail to applicable codes, store images and process components to written instructions, organize and report test results
- Calibrate NDT testing equipment
- Conduct radiographic tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuitiesÂ
- Control the radiation area
- Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and approved techniques
- May perform specialized inspections
- May instruct, train, and supervise others
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned
- Certify to internal qualification per NAS-410 and applicable Magellan procedure

- High school diploma or equivalent
- CGSB Level 2 RT certification
- Industrial Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) certification would be an asset
- Knowledge of NDT methods, procedures, and equipment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
