Hypernetics is a tier-two aerospace component manufacturer located in Arnprior, 30 minutes west of Ottawa. Hypernetics provides custom-engineered electromagnetic devices to the aerospace industry.

Hypernetics is recruiting for a Quality Manager & Inspector to join our team. This is a full-time position.

The Quality Manager & Inspector examines products and materials for detects or deviations from manufacturer or industry specifications. Additional duties include:

• Maintain quality systems at the most current version
• Inspect all parts, components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies purchased as per requirements
• Inspect all finished products
• Calibrate all inspection, measuring and test equipment
• Conduct internal quality audits
• Act as the management representative when liaising with external stakeholders on matters relating to the quality system, such as regulatory and certification audits
• Work with the purchasing, design and manufacturing departments and interface with the customer to resolve product quality problems
• Conduct quality system training for all employees

• College diploma or university degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or technology
• Certification in quality management
• 7-10 years of quality assurance and quality control experience in a manufacturing organization
• 3 or more years of experience in a supervisory capacity
• Demonstrated knowledge of blueprint reading
• Demonstrated knowledge of the use of inspection equipment and inspection tools
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Quality inspection experience in the aeronautical or automotive industry is an asset
