We currently have an opening for a Technical Manager. This is a full-time position.
 

We are seeking a Technical Manager to lead the oversight and continuous improvement of our facility’s quality assurance program. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this individual will be responsible for advancing new product and process development, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and mentoring the quality team. The role also plays a key role in client engagement, product strategy, and cross-functional collaboration across departments and with external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the facility’s quality assurance team
• Maintain and enhance quality systems, including SOPs, compliance, and audits
• Oversee and coordinate continuous improvement projects across departments
• Drive process optimization and standardization across the plant
• Collaborate with clients, sales, and external partners on quality-related matters
• Manage and maintain the site’s SharePoint system
• Lead the document control management system in alignment with ISO 9001 requirements
• Support the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and practices

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in wood products, industrial engineering, management, or related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, process engineering, or continuous improvement
• Proven experience leading teams and cross-functional projects
• Proficiency in process control systems such as DCS, PLCs, SCADA, and MES
• Strong communication, data analysis, and project planning skills

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in a related field
• 10+ years of experience in composite or engineered wood manufacturing
• Certifications in ASQ, Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant programs
