The Renfrew County District School Board (RCDSB) stretches from Deep River in the northwest, to Arnprior in the southeast and Barry's Bay along the edge of Algonquin Park. The district is located in a rural area that is steeped in a rich history of farming, forestry, and outdoor adventure, and is home to both a Canadian military base and a nuclear science and technology facility. The County of Renfrew and the surrounding areas have been the territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabe people for thousands of years and are home to the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation.
RCDSB educates over 9,000 students in 28 schools and is the third largest employer in the county. We celebrate the unique contributions of each individual and promote an environment that values imagination and innovation. RCDSB continues to adapt, evolve, and innovate in order to best serve the needs of students and inspire them to engage in an exciting future.
