We are currently recruiting for a Concrete Finisher-Labourer. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday. overtime and weekend availability is possible.
The Concrete Finisher-Labourer will install cast-in-place concrete, concrete pads, sidewalks, curbs, and perform finishing work.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Repair and replace damaged areas of concrete
- Level concrete surfaces by following grade and depth specifications
- Cure the concrete surface using hardening and sealing components
- Finish freshly poured cement by removing spots and filling hollows
- Be aware of and adhere to requirements for steel reinforcement materials, granular base and formwork
- Adhering to the grade requirements, direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces
- Use hand and power tools to finish concrete surfaces
- Load and unload materials on the job site and redirect materials to appropriate work areas
