Our services include excavating, civil construction, aggregates, float services, rock breakers, landscaping, snow removal, and sand, gravel and topsoil.
We are currently recruiting for a Foreman. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday. overtime and weekend availability is possible.
The Foreman manages daily construction site activity ensuring that crews work safely to ensure projects are completed on time. This role involves managing people, being up-to-date on site construction needs, and being a problem-solver on site.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Organize work crews to ensure each project has the team they need to work efficiently
- Allocate appropriate equipment needed for different job sites to ensure an efficient process
- Provide or arrange for crew member training as needed
- Promote and model safe work practices and oversee any accident incident reporting
- Communicate with project leaders to keep them informed of timelines, challenges and requirements
- Assist the crew as needed
- Complete required documentation and reporting in a timely manner
