Ketcha Star Daycare has served the greater Eganville area with quality childcare since 1993. We are licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Education to serve children ages 12 months to 12 years of age. We strive to include the four foundations of learning (belonging, well-being, engagement and expression) within all our programs.
We are currently recruiting for a Resource Staff Member. This position begins August 31, 2026.
This role has a regular school day split shift of 6:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The shift for PA days, March Break and summer is 7:00 a.m. –to 4:00 p.m.
This position currently supports both our kindergarten and school-age programs and may expand to other programs as needed. As a Resource Staff Member, you will work alongside our team of educators and Inclusion Services of Renfrew County to provide an inclusive, supportive environment for all children.
Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting children with additional needs
- Assisting with individual support plans (ISPs)
- Documenting observations and behaviours
- Supporting daily classroom routines and activities
- Helping create a positive, inclusive learning environment
