The Position

The schedule is Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, with weekends as needed on rotation.
A Parts Counter Clerk in the agriculture industry plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of a dealership or service center, assisting customers and technicians with the ordering, selling, and distribution of parts related to agricultural equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with inquiries regarding agricultural parts and equipment.
- Provide recommendations for parts based on customer needs and machine specifications.
- Process customer orders and ensure timely delivery or availability of parts.
- Maintain accurate records of parts inventory, including ordering, stocking, and tracking parts.
- Ensure parts are properly stored and cataloged for easy access.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders with suppliers to replenish stock as necessary.
- Sell agricultural parts and accessories to customers, both over the counter and through phone and email orders.
- Process sales transactions, including issuing invoices, receipts, and handling payments.
- Use databases or manuals to look up parts and pricing information for agricultural equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest product offerings and equipment technologies in the agricultural industry.
- Assist service technicians with ordering and providing parts for repair and maintenance jobs.
- Ensure the timely availability of parts for ongoing service work or repairs.
- Maintain accurate logs of parts sales, returns, and customer transactions.
- Handle warranty claims and ensure correct processing of returns or exchanges.
