We come from a generation of farmers.

The Byce Farm was established in 2011 by Hugh and Shirley Byce. We are a modern dairy farm producing high-quality milk. Located near Cobden, we are proud to be part of the Ottawa Valley’s agricultural industry. We are a busy operation, and we are looking for some help.

We are recruiting for a Chore Helpers. There are positions available in the morning from 4:30am to 8:00am and in the afternoon from 3:00pm to 6:30pm. Your responsibilities will be primarily milking cows, grooming cow stalls, feeding cows and moving cows.

Qualifications

In this role, you will be working with experienced help who will show you how to do the chores. What we are looking for is the right kind of person to be part of our crew.

  • You enjoy working with animals
  • Previous experience working on a farm is helpful, but we’re happy to introduce new people to farm work
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to doing a great job
  • An ambitious individual who is reliable and dependable
