We are currently recruiting for a Delivery Truck Driver at our Micksburg location. This is a full-time position with the potential of flexible hours. This position is not strictly truck driving – there will be some labour involved loading and unloading the trucks, setting dividers and pipes to blow off feed, helping customers, moving things in the yard and the warehouse.

Duties of the Position

• Make deliveries to customers (i.e., bagged feed, bulk feed, equipment, etc.) on time and in accordance with customer requirements.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections as well as preventative truck maintenance.
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries (i.e., e-log and paper), including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles and equipment.
• Loading and unloading delivery trucks and customer vehicles while using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Maintain the warehouse and yards for cleanliness and safety.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers and other team members.

• A valid AZ driver's licence and clean driver's abstract.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an A/Z driver is preferred.
• Knowledge of safe driving practices and transportation regulations.
• Able to lift 55lb. bags and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated, dependable and punctual.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and possible weekends as required.
• Knowledge of agricultural industry is an asset but not a requirement
