The Hexagon Waterfront Patio & Restaurant is located at the Deep River Shoreline Sports Club. The restaurant is open from May to October. Food is provided by Maven Catering, a year-round catering company that works throughout the Ottawa Valley.

Are you friendly, reliable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Maven Catering is recruiting for a Catering Assistant-Restaurant Server to join our team! This is a year-round position working 20-35 hours per week with some evening and weekend shifts.

This is a dynamic, hands-on position with a wide range of responsibilities, including:

• Providing excellent service at our seasonal waterfront restaurant
• Assisting with set-up, service, and clean-up for catered events
• Delivering catering orders to clients throughout the Ottawa Valley
• Packing supplies for off-site catering jobs
• Supporting basic food preparation as needed
• Offering warm, professional customer service at every point of contact

• Smart Serve certification (or willing to obtain within 1 week of hire)
• Safe Food Handling certification (or willing to obtain within 1 month of hire)
• Valid G Class driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to complete government-level security clearance paperwork 
• Positive, reliable, and enthusiastic
• Organized with strong multitasking skills
• A team player who can also take initiative
• Comfortable working evenings and weekends

Experienced in food service is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right person!
