We are currently recruiting for a Dental Assistant Level II - Sterilization Assistant to join our team. This position is Monday to Thursday, with no evenings or weekends.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Sets up and closes the dental operatory each day
- Prepares solutions for use in clinic
- Cleans and maintains dental equipment
- Assists the dentist or dental hygienist in clinical duties at chairside
- Processes, labels and files x-ray films
- Provides prescribed dental health instruction to clients
- Performs various clerical duties, checks records, consents and medical histories for completeness
- Records findings in dental records and data processing forms
- Receives and prepares patients for dental hygienist and dentist
