The Renfrew Victoria Hospital (RVH) is a 55-bed, fully accredited facility located just 45 minutes west of Ottawa, serving a catchment area of over 60,000. Part of the Renfrew and Area Health Village, RVH provides medical, surgical and complex continuing care as well as extensive ambulatory care with over 30,000 emergency and clinic visits per year.
Come join us! As a result of internal movements, we are currently recruiting temporary, part-time and casual Registered Practical Nurses. Our RPNs work across several units include dialysis, the emergency department, medical, surgical, and complex continuing care.
Registered Practical Nurses may be scheduled days, evenings, nights and weekends.
Duties will include:
- Performs strategies and interventions directed by the care plan.
- Evaluates the extent to which the individual's health needs are being met.
- Collaborates with the other members of the health team in the planning and provision of care.
- Refers and reports pertinent information to other members of the health team.
- Fulfils responsibilities as a member of the nursing discipline.
