We are recruiting for Winter Equipment Operators. There are two casual positions available.

Winter Equipment Operators have a main responsibility will be for snow clearing of township roads. This role will also assist with other tasks including equipment maintenance, road patching and other road-related duties. For the successful candidates, there is potential for further term employment opportunities with the municipality.

• Valid DZ driver’s license (minimum) in good standing.
• Must have completed O.S.S.D. (Grade 12) or CAEC.
• Experience in operation of tandem trucks, backhoe, loader and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Experience in the operation of tandem snowplow and snow removal equipment is an asset.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
• Available for on call and ability to work flexible hours.

This position is a minimum of 16 hours per week. There are no benefits.
