McCrea Excavating Ltd. is a family-owned business that has been serving Eastern Ontario for multiple decades. All our services and equipment are backed by the reputation of high quality, personable and reliable services. Our services include excavating, civil construction, aggregates, float services, rock breakers, landscaping, snow removal and sand, gravel and topsoil.

We are currently recruiting for Labourers. These are seasonal positions working 55 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and preparing work sites
• Setting braces to support excavations
• Assist in shooting grade, shoveling, raking and removing waste materials
• Assisting construction team members as needed
• Loading and unloading of materials
• Perform traffic control as required
• Assist with any other labour duties as necessary to complete the job

• Valid driver’s license
• Experience working in construction is an asset but we also welcome new labourers
• Strong work ethic; a reliable and punctual individual
• Able to lift 50lbs while standing and carrying materials
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions
• WHMIS and Working at Heights certifications are assets
• Must be flexible if needed to work extra hours
