ALA Construction is an Ottawa-based firm providing kitchen renovations, bathroom renovations and house extensions as well as commercial build and renovation services. We have a project happening in Pikwakanagan, and we are seeking a locally-based employee for this short-term position.

We are recruiting for a Construction Labourer for a one-month (January) contract. The role begins January 5, 2026. The shift is from 6:00am to 8:00am and then from 2:30pm until the close of shift. This position is paid for 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities:

• Work with a hydronic heating system
• Perform hose layout
• Uncover and cover the work area with insulated tarps

• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Can perform the physical duties of this role
• Punctual and reliable
• Own steel-toed work boots and safety gear
• Previous experience working in a construction site capacity is an asset
• Comfortable taking direction
• Having your own transportation to and from the work site
