General Construction Labourer

Demers Masonry has been providing masonry and carpentry services in the Ottawa Valley since 1969. Our focus is on providing quality work that improves a residential or commercial property. We are also a strong contributor to our community.

We are recruiting for General Construction Labourers. These are full-time positions providing mainly interior work.

Duties of this position include:

• Perform general labour tasks such as lifting and moving supplies
• Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment
• Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks as needed, including demolition and construction
• Operate hand and power tools safely
• Maintain the cleanliness of the work site by removing debris and organizing tools
• Completing other tasks as assigned by supervisors

• Previous experience in demolition, construction, or manual labour is preferred
• Experience in carpentry, drywalling, painting, and insulation is an asset
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks with strong attention to safety
• Ability to lift heavy materials with proper safety techniques
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license
