Ben Hokum and Son Limited is a progressive and growing sawmill and lumber company. We are the largest producer of red and white pine in Eastern Ontario and our lumber products are well-known in industry circles for their superior quality. Our company employs over 100 people, and we sell our products throughout Canada and internationally.
In addition, we have made significant investments in our operations and are continuing to do so. Today, we have the most technologically advanced sawmill in Eastern Ontario. We also have a state-of-the-art, automated lumber grading facility.
We are currently recruiting for Grading Line Laborers at our Golden Lake location. These are full-time positions. These positions will require training on day shift, and eventually move into night shift positions.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Work safely operating equipment
- Inspect, package, strap lumber bundles
- Adhering to all safe operating procedures
- General cleanup in the Grading Line
- Ability and willingness to learn a variety of tasks and jobs in and around site
