Broadband Maintenance Inc. is a leading telecommunications construction company servicing customers in Ottawa and the surrounding area. We provide underground project construction, aerial services, emergency restoration, and the technical and engineering expertise required for project success.

We are currently recruiting highly motivated individuals to join our team as Labourers-Equipment Operators. Successful candidates will dispatch to and work in Pembroke, Petawawa, and the surrounding areas. These are full-time positions.

The Labourer-Equipment Operator works with the broadband construction project management team. This will involve construction labour and equipment operation for fibre network infrastructure. You will be working in a variety of areas for the installation, upgrading and rewiring of broadband services.

• Valid Ontario G driver’s license
• A clean driver’s abstract held for at least three years
• Ability to lift 50 + pounds
• Ability to read and write in English
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and in and around heavy equipment
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors

Assets:

• Experience working with a mini-excavator, backhoe, and other heavy equipment
• Experience in landscaping, interlock, paving and concrete
• Able to read blueprints and/or construction plans
• Experience in telecommunication construction
