Yolkowski Monuments has been providing families with custom headstones for more than 40 years. We create monuments on-site at our Cobden location as well as install them in cemeteries.

We are recruiting for a Labourer. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. The schedule is Monday to Thursday, 10 hours per day. This role is available immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Installing monuments and grave markers in the cemetery
• Unloading shipments of stones
• Moving and arranging monuments and markers in the yard
• Learning how to sandblast monuments and markers (training provided)

• At least 18 years of age
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A reliable work ethic; punctual and dependable
• A valid G license with a good driver's abstract
• Able to lift 50lb +
• Good physical fitness to perform manual tasks daily
• Able to read a measuring tape to complete daily tasks
• Fork lift experience is beneficial
• CSA steel-toe boots
• Good verbal communication skills to collaborate with other workers and follow instructions
• Tons of potential for growth Shop work (Sandblasting)
• Comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions
