We are currently recruiting for a Landscape Forman. This is a full-time, seasonal position working Monday to Friday.
The Landscape Foreman manages a crew that works on a variety of landscaping projects throughout Renfrew County. As the leader of the crew, you will direct the work to be done on projects that complete the landscaping requirements. You will work collaboratively with the construction team as needed to create landscaping plans and be able to recommend options that would work best on specific sites.
Responsibilities:
- Manage crew members with varying degrees of landscaping experience
- Teach specific skills for landscaping, the use of power tools and equipment
- Liaise with the construction leader to report on landscaping site progress and any issues that may require additional construction or excavation work
- Be proactive in recommending ideas for landscaping or noting any issues that the teams needs to be aware of during project decision-making
- Keep track of workers and ensure everyone has what they need to complete the job, and is working effectively in their roles
