Located in the southwest edge of Renfrew County, Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan is home to several outdoor adventure businesses, second-generation logging companies, and many small businesses that thrive in our community. The hamlets of Palmer Rapids, Brudenell, Quadeville, Hardwood Lake and more are nestled in this rural and heavily forested township with 60,000 hectares of bush that supports the logging industry and surrounds the lush farmland. The public works department is responsible for 197 kilometers of roads in the township.
The Township of Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan is recruiting for a Chief Building Official. This is a full-time position.
The Chief Building Official will be responsible for processing applications for building and septic permits, reviewing construction drawings and performing onsite inspections of construction, development and demolition activities in compliance with the Ontario Building Code, the official plan and zoning by-laws. This role is also responsible for responding to resident complaints and issuing citations.
