Reid Brothers is a General Motors dealership that has been serving the area for more than 70 years. We are a family business with new and used vehicles, a full parts and service department and a collision centre. We are proud to serve the Ottawa Valley.

We are recruiting for an Automotive Technician. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance for customer vehicles
• Perform diagnostics and accurately identify issues
• Troubleshoot any issues with a vehicle and recommend appropriate repairs
• Communicate vehicle service work with customers in a congenial manner
• Complete all documentation of work with accuracy and in a timely fashion
• Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Make vehicle care recommendations to customers

• Valid driver’s license
• College of trades certificate as a licensed automotive technician (301S) or apprentice
• Strong customer service skills
• Motivated to work within a team environment and continue the success of the dealership
• Experience with General Motors (GM) brands is an asset; we offer full GM standards training
• Ability to understand technical manuals and diagnostic procedures

We are a flat rate shop with high earning potential. Salary is based on experience and hours produced.
