Welk Electric, Plumbing & Heating is well established, third generation company providing professional work and reliable service since 1958. Located in Barry’s Bay, Welk provides services is in the residential, commercial and industrial environments.

We are recruiting for a Plumber. This position is full-time, working 44 hours per week.

Job Duties:

• New installation of plumbing equipment
• Troubleshooting issues, diagnosing malfunctioning equipment and determining corrective action
• Interpreting blueprints to support successful installations
• Working independently and in a team environment with colleagues and other trades
• Use plumbing-related equipment and tools
• Adhere to safe working procedures
• Communication plumbing issues to the customer or supervisor

• Licensed Plumber (306A)
• Valid G driver’s licence
• Security check and clearance
• WHMIS, Working at Heights, First Aid, and Confined Space certifications (or willing to obtain)
• Knowledge of troubleshooting
• Experience in residential, commercial and industrial plumbing fields
• A positive attitude, punctual and self-motivated
