Home Support and Activities Assistant, Summer Student

Eganville and District Seniors and Whitewater Seniors have missions to provide activities, services and support to seniors, disabled individuals and others in our service areas.

We are recruiting for a summer student to be our Home Support and Activities Assistant. This is an eight-week contract, working 35 hours per week.

The Home Support and Activities Assistant has the following responsibilities:

• Assist with coordinating home support services
• Provide office work including record keeping
• Assist with coordinating online and in-person programming
• Provide support for social media

• Between the ages of 15 and 30
• Enrolled full-time in school and returning to school in the fall
• Experience using different forms of social media
• Someone who is comfortable taking initiative
• An interest in helping the community
• An organized and reliable person
