Renfrew and Area Seniors Home Support Inc. (RASHS) is a non-profit charitable community support service agency. We provide vital community support services to seniors and individuals with disabilities and special needs, to assist them with aging well in their homes. We also operate the Golden Age Activity Centre.

Renfrew and Area Seniors’ Home Support Inc. is recruiting two Summer Students for our community support service agency and Golden Age Activity Centre. These positions are for eight weeks beginning Monday, July 6, 2026, and are 35 hours per week.

Reporting to the administrative assistant of Renfrew and Area Seniors’ Home Support Inc. and the program coordinator at our Golden Age Activity Centre, the Summer Student will assist with general office duties, planning, organizing, and facilitating of activity programs in accordance with member needs, social media, set up and tear down for events.

• Comfortable interacting with seniors
• Written and oral communication skills
• Program planning and implementing experience is an asset
• Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Creative with good organizational skills
• Able to work with minimal supervision with other staff, volunteers and as part of a team
• Between 15 and 30 years of age and be a full-time student currently enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary institution, returning to school in the fall
• Possess a valid social insurance number
• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or someone to whom refugee status has been granted or conferred
