We are currently recruiting for a Student Administrative Assistant. This is a part-time position, 30 hours per week, for up to nine weeks.

The Student Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing a full range of administrative support to management, staff and volunteers.

Qualifications
  • Relevant post-secondary education (i.e. business, communications, marketing, media etc.)
  • One or more years of experience in an office administration position
  • Experience with creating media postings and facilitating website changes or updates
  • Experience with building presentations, Canva or other publishing software
  • Full proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in event co-ordination, planning and execution
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • The ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize activities in a fast-paced organization
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to engage with the public and contribute positively to the work culture of the organization
  • Strong diplomacy and negotiation skills
  • The ability to work as an effective team member
  • A self-starter with the ability to take initiative from concept through to implementation
  • Adept at learning new technology
  • Creativity, analytical skills, and strong attention to detail
  • French language fluency is an asset
  • Clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector clearance
  • A valid driver’s license and a vehicle
