Our store handles lumber and building materials, tools, hardware, paint, plumbing, electrical, ventilation, heating, household goods and more. Our services include lumber cutting, filling of propane tanks, tool rentals and assisting service contractors.
We are currently recruiting for a Student Cashier-Shelf Stocker to support front‑end operations and merchandising. This is a part-time, seasonal position. This role is ideal for a high sschool or post‑secondary student who enjoys customer service, staying organized, and working in a fast‑paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service at the checkout
- Process purchases accurately using the POS system (training provided)
- Restock shelves, merchandise products, and maintain clean aisles
- Assist with inventory counts and product rotation
- Keep the front counter organized and presentable
- Support staff with light cleaning duties and daily store tasks
- Answer customer questions or direct them to the appropriate department
- Follow all store policies and safety procedures
