We are currently recruiting for a Student Yard Worker. This is a part-time seasonal position that is ideal for a high‑school or post‑secondary student who enjoys hands‑on work, learning new skills, and working outdoors. You’ll support our yard staff with daily operations, customer service, and safe material handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in the lumber yard with locating and loading building materials
- Safely operate yard equipment (training provided)
- Pick and prepare orders for delivery or customer pickup
- Maintain a clean, organized yard and inventory areas
- Restock materials, bundle lumber, and assist with product counts
- Support deliveries by helping load and unload trucks
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment
- Provide friendly, helpful customer service at all times
