Adam Kasprzak, O.L.S. began working in Renfrew County since 1986 as a partnership with other land surveyors, known as Sury, Rowe & Kasprzak. In 1996, the present company was established as Adam Kasprzak Surveying Ltd., involving the purchase of records from these other land surveyors. In 2004, the firm purchased the companies and records of John Goltz Surveying and D.W. Patterson Surveying (both of which were operating in Pembroke). Today, Adam Kasprzak Surveying Ltd. has been servicing the Renfrew County area for over 25 years. We provide a variety of professional land surveying and consultation needs for municipalities, government, private businesses, and the public within Renfrew County and surrounding areas.
Adam Kasprzak Surveying Ltd. is looking for a full-time Field Survey Technician at our Pembroke office. The successful candidate would join our team of professional draftspersons, calculators, administration, and Ontario Land Surveyors.
The position requires a detail-oriented, responsible, self-motivated individual who will join an experienced party chief to perform a variety of legal, topographic, and construction surveys. As a member of an established company in Renfrew County, you would be joining an educational environment that encourages and supports professional development.
Job responsibilities:
- Assist the party chief in planning and conducting boundary, topographic, engineering surveys, and construction layout
- Interpret plans and drawings to assist with the search for survey evidence
- Perform field computations using the latest surveying technology
- Assist the party chief to keep clear field notes
- Assist the party chief in downloading and uploading field data to the company server, and organizing digital information
- Ensure proper care, storage, and charging of surveying equipment
- Ensure the truck is properly stocked with supplies and equipment on a daily basis
- Promote and follow all health and safety workplace regulations

- Working knowledge of Microsoft, Windows, Outlook, and computer functions
- Good communication skills with co-workers, clients, and members of the public on job sites
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Attention to detail is essential.
- High school diploma
- Valid driver's licence
Assets:
- Proficiency with total stations, GPS and digital level (training will be provided)
- College diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Working knowledge of Microsurvey and AutoCAD
