Smitty’s Home Hardware in Pembroke is a family owned and operated hardware and building supply company. We offer a wide range of services including home and cottage building designs, kitchen design and installation, key cutting, propane tank exchange and more. Located in Laurentian Valley between Pembroke and Petawawa, open seven days a week.

We are currently recruiting for a Cashier. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week.

The Cashier will perform customer service duties that include scanning items for purchase, completing returns and processing building materials sales. Some merchandising and general store maintenance is also part of this role.

• Previous experience in a cashier role is an asset
• High commitment to customer service
• Retail experience, including experience with building supply stores is an asset
• Punctual and reliable
• Ability to work with minimal or no supervision            
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

This position will include some weekend shifts.
