We are recruiting for a Quality Technician. This is a full-time position working 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Quality Technician to help ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. This role is ideal for candidates who have a passion for quality systems and thrive in a regulated good manufacturing practices (GMP) environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and submit product samples for testing, including re-testing and investigation support
  • Maintain sample tracking logs and upload results to the inventory management system
  • Conduct in-house testing of finished capsules in accordance with standard operating procedures and quality of natural health product guidelines
  • Manage the microbial monitoring program including SOPs maintenance, sampling, swabbing and tracking
  • Support the stability program and assist with internal audits
  • Review product specifications for compliance with the Natural and Non-Prescription Health Products Directorate and Health Canada requirements.
  • Ensure all activities align with GMP, Health Canada, and other regulatory standards
  • Assist with cross-training and other operational duties
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree, college diploma, or relevant work experience and/or apprenticeship training
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) and comfortable navigating various software and technology systems
  • Intermediate math skills
  • Ability to read, understand and follow instructions and apply information provided in standard operating procedures and other documentation
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written proficiency)
  • Available to work on-site in Barry’s Bay

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a GMP-regulated environment
  • 1-2 years of quality control experience in pharmaceutical, food services or manufacturing operations
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint
