Prior Motorsports provides parts and service for everything off-road. Our team is made up of experienced off-road enthusiasts and mechanics, who are passionate about what they do. We are dedicated to providing our customers with the best possible service and support, and we pride ourselves on our extensive knowledge of off-road vehicles and the outdoors.
We are recruiting a skilled Powersports Service Technician to join our team. This can be a part-time or a full-time position.
The Powersports Service Technician provides expert maintenance and repair services for a variety of all terrain vehicles, snowmobile, side by side and marine mechanical and electrical systems.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on vehicles and machinery, including engine diagnostics, brake repairs, and suspension work
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and assembly instructions to troubleshoot issues accurately
- Conduct inspections to identify mechanical problems and determine appropriate solutions
- Assist with the assembly of parts or systems during repairs or upgrades
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to customers
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Support ongoing maintenance tasks to prevent future issues and improve equipment longevity

- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, or mechanic work; dealership experience is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy components safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Knowledge of assembly processes related to vehicle or machinery repair is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license
- Own tools are an asset
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
