Eganville and District Seniors has a mission to provide activities, services and support to seniors, disabled individuals and others in our service area. We offer a variety of opportunities for residents of the local community to engage with the centre.

We are recruiting for Income Tax Volunteers.

Income Tax Volunteers are responsible for preparing and filing basic income tax returns during tax season. Volunteers receive free online training through the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and access to UFile software. Returns are prepared from home on your own schedule. We prepare and file more than 150 returns annually.

This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy helping others and want to make a meaningful impact by ensuring seniors and individuals with low to modest incomes can access the benefits and credits to which they are entitled.

• Home-based internet service
• Comfortable filing tax returns and able to take the CRA training
• Able to pick up and return tax files to our office in Eganville
• Respect for confidentiality for individual tax return information
