Valley Manor is an accredited 90-bed long-term care facility governed by a volunteer board of directors. Join our board of directors and become a member of a dynamic team that nurtures the vision of coordinated and shared health care in a rural and diverse community.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Understanding of the governance role of members of a board of directors in a not-for-profit environment
- Enthusiastic about healthcare in our rural community
- Willingness to become familiar with the continuum of care in our region and within the Ottawa Valley Ontario Health Team
- Skills and/or experience with actively participate in the governance role during the upcoming significant redevelopment project period, in addition to the overall work of the board
Applicants should be strongly committed to the mission, vision and values and have strong personal and professional integrity. We welcome applicants with a variety of skill sets and from all backgrounds according to the Valley Manor skills matrix.
Applications are welcome from Renfrew County, Hastings County or the District of Nipissing catchment areas.
