True-Centre Auto Service in Pembroke is a trusted name in the auto repair business – a one-stop shop for all auto repairs, vehicle maintenance and car repair solutions. We are currently recruiting for an Automotive Service Technician who has worked on a variety of vehicle makes and models. We are looking for someone who is committed to continuous learning and who is passionate about being an early adopter of new trends, procedures and technology.
This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
We are looking for someone who is highly reliable and honest and is always taking the initiative to learn. You would be comfortable with multi-tasking and would work well under pressure to meet multiple demands. You have great communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Detect and diagnose vehicle problems
- Replace parts as required
- Perform work described in the work orders
- Interacting with the customer in a friendly and professional manner
- Supervising and mentoring apprentices
- Performing vehicle inspections
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of shop and tools
- Being aware of part stock levels and reordering when necessary
