We are currently seeking a dedicated DZ Driver to join our team. This position is based in Pembroke.

In this unique position, we are looking for a DZ Driver to drive across multiple fleets and report to locations in Pembroke and Stittsvile. As a versatile driver who will be expected to drive a two-car carrier (flatbed with stinger) as well as a roll-off truck. No two days will be the same.

You will play a crucial role in our operations by safely and efficiently transporting dumpsters and providing scrap car removal services as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Safely operate roll-off trucks and tow trucks to transport waste containers and vehicles to designated locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and operating equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Secure loads properly to prevent spills or accidents during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to ensure top-notch customer service
• Maintain accurate logbooks.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and customer service. Additional qualifications include:

• Valid DZ license with a clean abstract and CVOR.
• Previous experience operating roll-off trucks and/or tow trucks is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations.
• Experience working around heavy equipment an asset.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
