We are recruiting for a Certified Dental Hygienist. This is a full-time position, five days per week. Office hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:00am-4:30pm and Friday, 8:00am-2:00pm.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collect medical and dental histories from patients
- Chart dental conditions based on dentist’s observations and evaluations
- Sterilize dental instruments and tools
- Instruct patients of all ages on proper dental hygiene and care
- Take x-rays of patients’ teeth
- Provide patients with the information they need to make informed decisions
- Respect the infection control policies set out by Health Canada including but not restricted to spore testing, reprocessing principles and respecting the checklists and logs required
