Inspired Events & Decor is an event planning and rental business located in Pembroke. We provide rental of tables, chairs, tents, dance floors, lighting and decor for varying sizes of events.

We are recruiting for Special Event Labourers. These are part-time, seasonal positions working from June 1 to September 1, with an opportunity to extend a position.

We are a small business which means we need people that are willing to wear many hats and perform various duties. You will work closely with the warehouse manager, owner, and set-up coordinator.

This position would include (but not be limited to) the following:

• On-site labour including set-up and tear down of event rentals (i.e. tables, chairs, tents, lighting, dance floors)
• Loading, unloading and moving inventory by hand, dolly, or basic material handling
• Communicate with the warehouse manager and office team to arrange time of work, transportation & details of events

• Valid Ontario Drivers license and/or the ability to get to and from the warehouse and job sites
• Excellent time management skills 
• Communication and teamwork skills
• High level of professionalism with clients
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (i.e. moving and lifting heavy items)

This position will be on the road at our scheduled events within the Ottawa Valley and area. You will be required to have availability on weekends within our season (not all weekends are required).

Rates of pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour based on commitment and experience.
